Loungeroom Transformation [14 Mar 2010|11:45pm] darkyoshii This weekend was really spent playing craploads of Final Fantasy XIII. Didn't do much else apart from that, saw a few friends in spaces over the weekend. Deat came over today and we diagnosed my PC monitor has died. Now it had a giant gash on it since it's been moved around so much so it was only a matter of time before it gave up the ghost. So now I need a new PC monitor. There's a BenQ 24" LED going for about $320 I might look into, but can anyone recommend anything? --- Today we also decided to turn the loungeroom around 180 degrees. I'm extremely pleased with the result, right now the main PC is running through the large TV infact. I shall take a photo tomorrow and post it. Just need to the fix subwoofer levels and I should be right. Once I get this second sub I have fixed we'll have that installed as well! Once I get my Blu-Rays back I'll start having movie nights. Can also start having game nights too with the loungeroom all setup properly. There's enough seats in here for a few people to sit down and have fun. Room for about six I'd say comfortably, more if you want to sit on the floor and move the coffee table out of the way. --- So mini-Animania and Armageddon are both on in Sydney next weekend, I'm going up there by bus. Not looking forward to the trip but the actual event should be well worth it! Shall try to get my wii back while I'm up there and get my games back off people. My friend Nureen has some and I know Yiji has a stack of my games too I should kindly request back really. Just in time for Galaxy 2, plus I do want to play New Super Mario Bros as well. I'll need to buy a Wii Component Cable though, I don't have one of those yet. With a screen this large, it'll be rather obvious if I don't use one. Anyway, might go back to FFXIII. iPhone replaced! [13 Mar 2010|12:29pm] darkyoshii The Apple store in Doncaster is sheer brilliance. The place looks wonderful and there's lots of staff. I was in and out within ten minutes with an entirely new iPhone. Lloys from the Genius Bar looked at my phone, told me the errors I have are 99% associated with liquid damage however my phone didn't have the tabs tampered with so they replaced it! Mobile phones have little white spots that go red if they touch water. As they hadn't they replaced the entire thing. I had a look at their accessories while I was there, might get that iPhone case that's also a battery. $119.95 but it doubles the iPhone's lifespan and I'm always worrying about that. Due to my computer temporarily being out of it I actually have no contacts. They'll all be synced back onto the phone when my computer is eventually fixed. Warranty failure, or a simple cable might have fallen out. I dont have the tools here to open it up nor do I trust myself to do so. --- Final Fantasy XIII is getting awesome. Taken about 25 hours but I'm really getting into it now. Shall definetly get the soundtrack to this game. When I have money, just bought Guilty Gear 2 Overture from Dungeon Crawl. Have a few soundtracks I want to purchase actually, as I always do. FFXIII and Bayonetta are next on the cards though, both 5 CDs. The FFXIII has a Drama CD with it though which is useless to me. If anyone I know knows Japanese enough to make use of it, theyre welcome to borrow it. 8 victims| darkness befalls...

Bad luck is bad. [10 Mar 2010|08:18pm] darkyoshii Man, I'm having terrible luck with my electronics. My iPhone died on Saturday, going to the Genius Bar tomorrow to see if they can fix it. My main PC which I just bought is also no longer booting at all. Seriously, horrible luck here.
